The database of the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the PRC published photos and details about the technical part of the 7-seat hybrid crossover Chery Tiggo 8 Pro DP-i.
Compared to the previously released Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 8 Plus models, the new product is more sporty and aimed at a younger audience.
The car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system with a turbocharged 1.5 t SQRE4T15C engine with a power of 156 kW and a triple lithium battery. The maximum speed is 180 km/h. Fuel consumption on the WLTC cycle is only 1.7 l/100 km.
The front of the car is equipped with an X-shaped air intake grille, which gives it a sporty look. Added chrome and blue decorative stripes to indicate it is a PHEV hybrid. There are LED lights built into the grille, and there are also fog lights. The car is equipped with a panoramic sunroof.
At the rear, there are twin tailpipes and a roof spoiler. Dimensions Chery Tiggo 8 Pro DP-i are 4745 x 1860 x 1747 mm with a wheelbase of 2710 mm and curb weight of 1818 kg.
In terms of sensors, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro DP-i is equipped with front and rear cameras and microwave radars. The car popular traditional door handles rather than the retractable solutions that have been popular recently.
