Samsung Galaxy S24 brings generative AI to Samsung Keyboard: Features offered, how to use it and more

Galaxy AI was the biggest and perhaps the most important part of the entire Galaxy S24 series announced at the Unpacked 2024. The entire Galaxy AI is a suite of AI-powered features and it includes several of them aimed at making users’ lives simpler and easier.

Rewrite things the way you prefer

One such feature is also present in the Samsung Keyboard app that too natively.

The Samsung Keyboard’s Galaxy AI integration brings generative texts that includes the ability to rephrase the sentences in different styles and moods. For instance, you can write something and ask Samsung Keyboard’s AI to rewrite it in professional tone, casual tone and even social media tone with all those emojis and hashtags included.

Real-time translation

But, the capability moves beyond just paraphrasing. Galaxy AI in Samsung Keyboard can also translate messages or texts in real-time. For instance, you are texting someone who does not speak the same language.

Instead of copying the text each time and pasting it into one of the translation apps and then writing your reply or message then translating it into the language of the other person. All of this sounds pretty complicated and a tiresome task.

Galaxy AI solves this problem with real-time translation. All users need to do is press the new Galaxy AI icon on the Samsung Keyboard, choose the “Chat translation” option and languages for both the sender and receiver and start texting.

It will automatically translate the sent and received messages in the selected languages. Also, it will translate the messages sent by someone for you and also the messages you want to send in the language the next person understands.
