NEW DELHI: De’Aaron Fox showcased his scoring and playmaking prowess, notching 28 points and dishing out nine assists, while Domantas Sabonis recorded a triple-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, leading the Sacramento Kings to a thrilling 127-122 home victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night.
Joining Fox and Sabonis in the scoring column, Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk each contributed 21 points, with Monk making significant contributions down the stretch. Keegan Murray added 16 points as the Kings closed out the game with an impressive 11-2 burst, securing their second consecutive win.

Despite a valiant effort from the Spurs, led by Devin Vassell’s outstanding performance with 32 points on efficient shooting, and Victor Wembanyama’s impressive all-around contribution of 19 points, 13 rebounds, five steals, and five blocked shots, San Antonio fell short, suffering their ninth loss in their last ten games.
Wembanyama’s three-point play with 2:53 remaining gave the Spurs their first lead of the second half at 117-116. However, Monk’s clutch jumper and Fox’s timely three-pointer propelled the Kings on a decisive 9-0 run. Murray’s emphatic dunk extended Sacramento’s lead to 123-120 with less than a minute left, effectively sealing the win for the Kings.
Throughout the game, both teams showcased efficient shooting, with the Kings shooting 55.9 percent from the field, including 39.4 percent from beyond the arc. The Spurs were equally proficient, shooting 51 percent overall and connecting on 44 percent of their three-point attempts.
