Operators signed forward contracts for more than 100 billion rubles. The total volume until 2030 is about 75,000 base stations. Already from 2028, they will have to purchase exclusively domestic base stations. The transition to Russian equipment will be phased. This will make sure that the requirements for the equipment are fully met and distribute the financial burden.

Dmitry Kim added that contracts were signed with two equipment suppliers. Earlier Mintsifry assured that the withdrawal of telecommunications companies Nokia (Finland) and Ericsson (Sweden) from the Russian market will not affect the quality of mobile communications.
