Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 launched in India, price starts from Rs 3.49 lakh, know features

Royal Enfield has launched its Super Meteor 650 bike in India. The Super Meteor 650 has been brought at an initial price of Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, the price of its top model has been fixed at Rs 3.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The Super Meteor 650 is offered in three variants in a total of seven colours.

Delivery will start from next month

The company will start the delivery of this bike in India from 1 February 2023, while its delivery in Europe will start from March. The company started booking the bike in November 2022 itself. At the same time, its booking for Europe has started from 16 January. This bike can be booked online or at the company’s dealership.

The Super Meteor 650 is a cruiser bike with a footrest placed at the front. In this bike, the rider will get complete comfort even in long rides. The bike gets LED headlight and LED tail light, while the turn indicator is housed in the bulb. This is the first bike in which the company is offering LED headlight.

Like the Meteor 350, Royal Enfield has also introduced the Super Meteor 650 in alloy wheels. To give the bike a cruiser look, 19-inch front and 17-inch tubeless tires have been installed at the rear. Apart from this, a 15.7-liter teardrop-shaped fuel tank has been installed in the bike. To improve the seating comfort, it has been given a split seat setup. The rider seat is in bucket shape to give the rider the feel of a cruiser bike.

In the Super Meteor 650, the company has already resorted to the instrument console being used in its bike lineup. The console is a round unit with a tripper navigation display on the right side. The company is using such a unit in the Meteor 350.

In the Super Meteor 650, the company has used the engine of the 650cc lineup. The company is also using this engine in the Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor 650. It is powered by a 648cc air and oil cooled parallel twin engine that produces 47 Bhp of maximum power and 52 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

In India, the Super Meteor 650 will compete with its own brand Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, along with this bike will also challenge the Benelli 502C.
