Issuance of stapled visa to Arunachalees is a matter of great concern. The territorial dispute between China and India need to be well-defined and resolved with comprehensive arbitration. The two global economic powers should divert their focus from border altercation towards establishment of economic growth on both sides. However, India should be well prepared to defend her own territory against any unsought external aggression.
Regular forces & soldiers, Telecommunication, Roadways, provision of basic amenities to the citizens across the border areas need to be executed quickly and effectively.
The issues of stapled visa & other border related dispute should not be undermined or condoned.
I extol the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) for lodging strong protest against issue of stapled visa by the Chinese government and appeal to the Government of India to put effort into resolving the crisis.
