It is written that 25 years ago today, Tata Indica gave birth to the indigenous passenger car industry in India. Let us tell you that Tata Indica was launched in 1998. It was the first Indian hatchback car to run on a diesel engine. It created such a place in the hearts of Indians that even today people remember it. Tata Indica has been named among the best selling cars of India.
