India Post GDS Recruitment 2023: Good news for candidates desirous of recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak in Postal Department. More than 40 thousand Gramin Dak Sevaks are to be recruited in various postal department circles across the country. This recruitment is to be done as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. According to the information received for Postal Department Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2023, maximum 40,889 GDS are to be recruited including all circles. Out of these vacancies, the maximum number of 7,987 vacancies are for Uttar Pradesh circle. At the same time, after this the maximum number of 3,167 vacancies are for Tamil Nadu, 3,036 for Karnataka and 2,480 for Andhra Pradesh circle.

Candidates willing to apply for Uttar Pradesh Dak Sevak Recruitment will be able to apply through the online application form to be made available on the official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The GDS Application Form 2023 for the application process can be activated today i.e. Friday, 27 January 2023 on the official website of the Department of Posts, indiapost.gov.in. At the same time, candidates desirous of applying having the prescribed qualification will be able to submit their application by 16 February 2023. After this, between 17 to 19 February 2023, the candidates will be given a chance to rectify or amend the application by the Department of Posts.
Candidates wishing to apply for Postal Department Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment should have passed Matriculation (Class 10) examination from a recognized board. Also, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on the last date of application. Candidates belonging to various reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per Central Government rules.
