Composer, actor and producer Vijay Antony’s daughter, Meera, died by suicide in the early hours of September 19. She was 16 years old. According to reports, Meera was taken to a private hospital after being found hanging at her Chennai residence. The doctors, who examined her, declared her dead. According to reports, she was under pressure and was getting treatment for the same.

On September 19, Vijay Antony and his family were in for a rude shock after his daughter, Meera, was found dead at around 3 am at their residence in Alwarpet, Chennai. She was 16 years old and studying at a popular school in Chennai. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the girl was battling depression.
Meera was rushed to the hospital in Chennai after the house help found her in her room. However, the doctors who examined her said she was brought dead. More details are awaited.
The police officials are currently conducting an investigation regarding the same.
