After Doklam, China is now testing India’s preparedness by transgressing inside Arunachal Pradesh. Recently Chinese road building team entered Upper Siang to construct road. The workers left after strong protest from the Indian troops. The army chief Bipin Rawat on Monday declared that issue has been resolved and a Border Personnel Meeting took place two days back on the issue. The situation has been contained for now but repeated Chinese transgression is matter of deep concern. They seem to be following a set pattern.
It started with repeated incursion inside Ladakh region followed by Doklam standoff in Sikkim and now Arunachal. The Chinese seems to be testing India’s preparedness in all sectors by carrying out such kind of border incursion. The security agencies should take note of the pattern and take adequate measures to foil any misadventure by the China. The government of India has to invest more to upgrade road infrastructure along the Indo-China border. Especially in Arunachal sector, the situation is pathetic. Indians troops struggles to reach border areas due to absence of good roads. Imagine what will be the situation if tomorrow there is a war with China? The repeated Chinese incursion should not be taken lightly. India should be wary of Chinese intent and take measures to keep country safe and secure.
