Bloody Daddy teaser out. Shahid Kapoor is on a violent revenge spree, fans call him ‘Indian John Wick’

Shahid Kapoor is on a violent spree in the intriguing teaser of his upcoming film, Bloody Daddy. The actor took to Instagram on April 13 and shared the teaser of his next film, Bloody Daddy, which is helmed by Tiger Zinda Hai’s Ali Abbas Zafar. The action thriller sees Shahid in a rugged avatar, taking down multiple goons.

BLOODY DADDY TEASER OUT

After treating fans with Shahid Kapoor’s first look from Bloody Daddy, the makers on April 13 released the teaser of the thriller. The forthcoming project marks the first collaboration between Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor. Fuelling great anticipation among the fans, the teaser is a top-notch higher when it comes to action and Shahid’s mind-blowing acting skills. The gripping video begins with Shahid in a black suit entering a dark hallway of a hotel, and then proceeding to take down goons with a knife.

The action then proceeds to show how his character is aiming to take revenge for a personal crisis. The teaser also gives a glimpse of Sanjay Kapoor and Ronit Roy, who appear to represent the mafia, while Rajeev Khandelwal and Diana Penty are on the good team side.
Shahid shared the teaser and wrote, “Get ready for a BLOODY good time at the movies. #BloodyDaddy June 9, 2023, on Jio Cinema (sic).”

ALL ABOUT BLOODY DADDY

Presented by Jio Studios in association with Zafar’s AAZ Films, Offside Entertainment and The Vermillion World, the film is billed as a “stylised relentless action-packed ride”. The drama is set to have a direct-to-digital release on June 9.

Shahid Kapoor enjoyed every bit while shooting for Bloody Daddy. “It was a lot of fun. I had a great time doing an action film, I really enjoyed working with Ali. He understands the genre very well. The dilemma now is that if you’re doing something of this scale, on OTT, what do you do on the big screen? So we have to figure that out, it has been a blast,” the 42-year-old actor told reporters at the Jio Studios event.

Kapoor also said his dancing experience helped him understand action choreography better.
