Now as per the latest report by Bloomberg, the next generation iOS 18 will be one of the biggest software as it may allow third-party applications, browsers and payment gateways globally.
The company has been introducing iOS 17.4 with the above-mentioned add-ons to the European Region in order to comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA). Further, Mark Gurman’s report suggests that the company will unveil the new iOS 18 at the WWDC 2024 in June.
Additionally, Apple is anticipated to release some AI-powered features, such as ChatGPT-like functionality on iPhones, most likely starting with the iPhone 16 series. Moreover, it might provide fresh functionalities based on a substantial internal language model. The company’s upcoming flagship chipset might support it. It’s also possible that Apple will develop these additional functionalities using OpenAI’s GPT.
It may also launch new features similar to those of Samsung, such as an improved photo editor with generative AI, auto-generated playlists on Apple Music, an AI-powered notes app for speedy content creation, and more.
