The wait is finally over. Fans can register for much-awaited ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets from August 15. Earlier Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated that it is working with International Cricket Council (ICC) to accelerate the process. Now that the revised World Cup schedule is out, including IND vs PAK game, the tickets will be available for registration on August 15.
Before the tickets go on sale, fans will have to register their interest via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August. This will enable them to receive ticket news first and help secure their spot at the World Cup, and experience the joy of cricket in one day.
For the uninitiated, the IND vs PAK cash has been rescheduled to Oct 14 due to the clashing of Navratri’s start.
Last week, BCCI also gave a green signal to all state associations to come up with prices for each World Cup venue. Only the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) have announced the prices for tickets.
ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets: No E-ticket for WC 2023 tickets, fans have to collect them at counters
In another major development, there won’t be any E-ticket facilities also as fans have to collect tickets from box office counters. Also, BCCI will each receive 300 free hospitality tickets as needed for each game. Furthermore, the state must provide the ICC with 1295 tickets for league games and 1355 tickets for the matches against India and the semifinals.
Earlier, issues with the WC schedule and the delay in finalizing a partner delayed the entire process. BCCI will now delegate management of the ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets sales to two online ticketing platforms. Both BookMyShow and Paytm will manage the sale of WC tickets. However, there will be no digital tickets.
The price range for the tickets will be between Rs 500 and Rs 10,000 per ticket. The prices will depend on the venue and the match.
When will tickets go on sale?
- August 25: Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
- August 30: India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
- August 31: India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
- September 1: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
- September 2: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
- September 3: India matches at Ahmedabad
- September 15: Semi Finals and Final
