Majority of the political parties may find it difficult to stomach, but it is a fact that Nehru-Gandhi family will have a major say in moulding the destiny of our country for many more years to come.And for Congress, Gandhi family was, is and will be an inalienable part of it. This is not because that the Congress party does not have any good and experienced leaders other than Sonia Gandhi to lead the party.
It is because experienced leaders have developed an attitude of ‘mein hoon na’ instead of developing true leadership qualities with a sense of good direction.
Many prime ministerial candidates might have cropped up within the party if there was no Sonia at the helm of affairs. But she managed to pull them all together and put forward a Congress that was united, forward looking and ready to take charge of the nation.
Indians are known all over the world for tolerance, simplicity, spirituality and other ingredients of life such as accepting goodness of others; unfortunately we do not want to take the pain to develop such goodness, inner quality within ourselves and take collective responsibility to be proud citizen of developed country.
Now, Sonia Gandhi is ultimate boss of the Congress with her sheer determination and hard work and with Team Manmohan she dreams of a prosperous nation. Hope, the Congress workers from top to bottom will do some introspection; mentally prepare themselves, work and prove that they are worthy of leading us towards a better India.
