This means that the layoffs starting today in Microsoft are going to affect 11,000 employees.
According to Reuters report, the personal computer market has been declining for several quarters due to which Windows and device sales have suffered, due to which the company is under pressure to maintain the growth rate in its cloud unit Azure.
Remind that in July last year, Microsoft showed some employees the way out of the company. In October 2022, a news site Axios report revealed that Microsoft has sacked about 1000 employees from different departments.
