2023 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is a large 7-seater crossover that can travel 965 km on a single tank of gas

According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the consumption of a crossover when driving in the city and on the highway is the same and is only 6.72 liters per 100 kilometers (35 mpg). For comparison, the nearest competitors in the face of the Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride, according to official EPA data, consume 11.2 liters per 100 kilometers (21 mpg). The hybrid Ford Explorer is slightly more economical at 9.41 liters per 100 km (25 mpg), but it still can’t match the hybrid Highlander.

As a result, at one gas station, the Toyota Highlander of the 2023 model can travel 965 km. The EPA says the Highlander Hybrid will save $1,500 in fuel costs over five years compared to the average new car. In making this calculation, the agency is based on an annual mileage of 24,140 km, 45% highway and 55% urban, as well as current US gas prices.
