The market leaders were Kia and Hyundai, which last year was preferred by 10% and 9% of buyers respectively. Lada took third place with a score of 8%, while Nissan and Toyota were preferred by 7% and 6% of Russians, respectively.
Hyundai Solaris with an average bill of 750 thousand rubles led the market, the second place was taken by Kia Rio (842.5 thousand rubles). They are followed by Lada Granta (570 thousand rubles) and Ford Focus (534 thousand rubles).
Among Chinese brands, 44% of buyers chose Chery, Haval (14%) is in second place, and Geely (13%) closes the top three. Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro became the best-selling Chinese models.
The average check on the market in Russia amounted to 980 thousand rubles, which is 190 thousand more than a year earlier. Cars were bought more often on credit: 89% of all transactions against 70% in 2021.
