Almost a month after the launch of the Radeon RX 7900 graphics cards, AMD has published a guide for game developers, which should allow the latter to better optimize their projects for the new architecture.
The 600+ page document provides information about the RDNA 3 shader code execution model, memory hierarchy, and lists all available instructions. This should come in handy for developers for low-level optimizations or compiler-level tweaks.
Whether this will somehow affect future games is unclear. In any case, the Radeon RX 7000 line of video cards is just starting its way to the market, so developers still have time to optimize their projects for such adapters.
