The Chinese cars Geely and Chery went up the most in Russia last year, while Lada cars went up the least, according to a recent study by Otkritie Bank.
The Chinese crossover Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max has risen in price by 73.4% or 1.6 million rubles. Changan CS35 Plus, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Exeed TXL, as well as Geely Atlas Pro, Tugella and Coolray increased in price by 43-60%. Changan CS75FL and Haval Jolion became more expensive by 24.8% and 31.3% respectively.
Prices for Kia Seltos increased by 30.6%, for Hyundai Tucson – by 29.3%. UAZ “Patriot” has risen in price by 25.1%, and Lada Vesta has become more expensive by 23.7%. The rating is closed by FAW Bestune T77 (+14.9%), Lada Granta (+11.1%) and Lada Niva Travel (+10.9%).
The study says that cars that have stagnated in showrooms can sell at huge discounts, but new models by the end of the first quarter of this year can rise in price by 10-12%.
