Auto Expo 2023: Ampere electric scooter maker Greaves Electric has launched Primus electric scooter at Auto Expo 2023. Along with this, the company has showcased two new electric scooters – NXG and NXU.
New electric scooters have been introduced according to different categories. Ampere Primus is a high-speed e-scooter.
The electric scooter has 3 Kwh LFP battery technology with smart BMS. The scooter has a top speed of 77 kmph while it can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in less than five seconds.
The long legroom, wide seats that you get in Ampere Primus makes it a comfortable ride. The Ampere Primus gets a 4 kW mid-mount motor of torque. It gets a range of more than 100 kilometers on a single charge. Four riding modes are available in the scooter. This includes Eco, City, Power and Reverse modes. Talking about the features, phone connectivity and navigation are available through Bluetooth.
Longer legroom, wider seats, better driveability enhance the comfort quotient of the electric scooter. It is available in four metallic matte color options Himalayan White, Royal Orange, Havelock Blue and Buck Black, while the bodyU panels come in dual tone.
The Ampere NXG is a concept electric scooter with IoT connectivity, while the Ampere NXU is another connected scooter designed for the gig worker. It can also be used as a vehicle for personal use by the family.
Greaves Electric has also introduced three electric tricycles for passenger and cargo mobility. This includes Greaves ELP, Greaves ELC and Greaves Aero Vision. Sanjay Behl, CEO & Executive Director, Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd (GEMPL) said, “We are delighted to introduce 6 new electric two wheelers and three wheelers to the GEMPL portfolio.”
