Mitsubishi introduced the Delica Mini microvan in Japan, a smaller version of the popular Mitsubishi Delica minivan. The new model is not very similar to the full-size Delica, but the Delica Mini is built on the basis of the eK X Space key car.
Delica Mini looks strict, even severe. The car received an increased ground clearance compared to the eK X Space, along the perimeter of the body – a black plastic body kit. All this will come in handy on the roads, although the Delica Mini is clearly not designed for serious off-road exercises.
The dimensions of the microvan are 3395 x 1475 x 1830 mm, that is, it is a typical kei car. The same can be said about technology: there are 0.66-liter engines with a capacity of 52 (atmospheric) or 64 (turbocharged) hp, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, a variator.
Orders for the Delica Mini are already being accepted in Japan, but the prices are considerable: from $14,000 for the basic version to $17,500 for the top one.
